Properties: Energizes and refreshes the mind. Aids concentration. Clears the mental cobwebs. Soothes and comforts. In very limited amounts makes an excellent ingredient in skincare products. Added in small amounts, is a great skin care additive for inflamed, damaged skin. Popular household cleaning ingredient as it leaves a fresh clean citrus smell as well as an effective cleaner.
Possible Uses: Add to diffuser to give a fresh clean aroma to the room. Add a few drops to dishwater when washing dishes. May also be used very sparingly to flower and add tartness to foods. Like all members of the citrus oil family, Lime has a limited shelf life (1 year max) and should always be kept cool and dark with limited "head space" in the bottle.
Great with: Like all Citrus Essential Oils, blends well with many oils, "lifting" a blend to energize it. Bay Leaf, Fennel, Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Neroli, Rose, Sandalwood, Tea Tree, Ylang Ylang, all the resinous Essential Oils as well as many others.
